126 Million Facebook Users Exposed To Russian Disinformation, Social Net Revises Estimate

During a Congressional hearing on Tuesday, Facebook said it dramatically underestimated the number of U.S. users who were exposed to Russian-backed disinformation leading up to the 2016 presidential election. The revised estimate is many times more than the 10 million U.S. users that Facebook initially stated.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump ended the midterms news cycle by effectively firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions . The acting Attorney General is now Matt Whitaker, Sessions' former chief of staff and a man who used to mooch WiFi from a taco restaurant.
