U.S. tourists arrested for baring their butts outside a Thai temple for Instagram

It's all fun and games on Instagram until you post a partially naked photo of yourself in front of a sacred Thai temple and get arrested. That's how the saying goes, at least for U.S. tourists and Instagram stars Joseph and Travis Dasilva, who were arrested in Thailand on Tuesday and charged with public indecency after snapping a photo of their bare bums in front of Bangkok's famous Wat Arun temple. BookBrowse Highlights: The Things We Do For Love

If you're in the need of an uplifting book, one that will raise the spirits and warm the heart, Elizabeth Berg's The Story of Arthur Truluv will hit the spot - a tale of compassion, friendship and the possibilities to achieve happiness at any age. If you're in the mood for something darker, then take a look at our latest Book Club book - History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund, in which our young protagonist grapples with the life-and-death consequences of the things people do - and fail to do - for those they love. Then we're off to a chillingly dystopian future in Louise Erdrich's Future Home of the Living God which, like the best of its genre, speaks to our current time. Along the way we learn about Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, climate fiction, and explore the source of the expression, "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Landor Projects 'Trump' To Remain No. 1 Issue For Brands In 2018

Image
As Donald Trump's presidency approaches its second year, consumer brands are expected to have a higher-than-usual political profile in 2018, as consumers demand to know where they stand on key issues. That's the outlook from WPP's branding consultancy Landor, which just released its 2018 outlook for brands. While other issues such as Amazon's expanding influence and the role of new technologies -- especially AI, blockchain, etc. -- will be a big focus of branding next year, it is the heightened state of political discourse that remains the No. 1 factor, according to Landor's experts.
